Dryer Comparison: Vented And Ventless

When it comes to purchasing a new dryer you will have a couple of options that will need a simple dryer comparison. There are two different types of dryers that you can look into: dryers with vents and dryers that are ventless. Each one has its own unique qualities that you may love or you may hate.

Vented Dryers
Some people tend to go with a vented dryer. The only downfall is the fact that the water that comes out of the vent will cause a flood in your yard. Most people complain about the fact that there is always water all over the place and it can create somewhat of a swamped area. The vent that is installed should be placed away from your home to keep water out of your yard. If you need a vent, then you should get a downward vent so that all of the humidity is escaping and you are keeping your home cool. The vent should run about 10 feet or so away from your home.

Ventless Dryers
A ventless dryer is an appliance that can cause a lot of headaches. The drying times can be a lot longer than usual and it can get quite humid in your laundry room. Older homes tend to have the ventless dryers, and sometimes these are even kept outside or in the garage because of the amount of heat it lets off.
