Lantern Walls

If the light fixture installations are lamps that are on the walls, or externally placed in the patios, you can remove light fixtures by first removing the bulb, then the platform where the bulb is installed. It may be installed with the use of screws. All that it takes is to unscrew the installation and keep the screws and the lamp assembly where it is safe. But when doing this, the operators should make sure that the power connection of the light fixtures subject for removal is disconnected from the source. Or to make sure and avoid accidents, the main source should be shut off.

A solar string light, for instance requires no power connection from the utility company. It is a stand-alone series of light that can be installed outdoors. All that is necessary is to simply take them off where they are hanged and place them in a room or a compartment where it is safe. The solar accent lights are installed on poles, the lamps can be easily removed except the poles. So when you intend to remove light fixture of this type, you may want the pole to stay in its place until you figure out what is the best appearance of your outdoor.

Overhead Installations

Light fixtures that are installed overhead can also be easily removed using a ladder. It may not require additional assistance from anybody. You need to ensure that the connection from the main source is disabled. Or, it may help if the connection from the main source is temporarily deactivated by turning the switch off. In securing long wires, it will help if you have a round object similar to a spindle to roll the wires. For added safety, the bulbs in the series connection may be removed before having the light fixtures disassembled.
