Eco Green Your Clothing And Accessories

As part of the eco green movement, more attention is being paid to our clothing and how often we purchase unnecessary new clothing. If you have an interest in living a more environmentally friendly life, here are some good ideas.

Idea #1-Attend a “Clothing Swap”

Clothing swaps have grown in popularity in the past five years as the economy has resulted in the necessary trimming of household budgets. However, clothing swaps are actually a very eco friendly activity and a great way to avoid unnecessary clothing purchases. Most clothing swaps do not charge any sort of fees. You are only required to bring some clothing that you want to contribute. In return, you can go through clothing that other participants have brought and exchange your clothing for the pieces you desire.

Idea #2-Buy Eco-Friendly Fabric

If you absolutely have to purchase new clothing, choose clothing made of fabrics made of sustainable and eco friendly fiber fabrics. This can include clothing made of organic cotton and hemp, among others.

Idea #3-Choose Eco-Friendly Manufacturers

Purchase clothing that is made with ecologically friendly trade practices, including clothing that is made by manufacturers who are known to operate sweat-free manufacturing facilities.

In today's world, living an ecologically friendly life is not difficult, particularly when it comes to our clothing choices. All we need to do is be a little conscious about how we spend our money.
