Embossed Metal Watering Can

You'll Need

• Brass Metal Tooling Foil (36 gauge)
• Galvanized Metal Watering Can (or other galvanized container)
• Silicone Sealant

Tools Needed

• Metal embossing tool
• Wood stylus
• Scissors
• Craft foam
• Masking tape
• Embossing patterns

Instructions for Each Embossed Medallion

1. Cut a 4" x 5" piece of brass tooling foil; tape edges of metal down on sheet of craft foam.
2. Choose pattern; center and tape on top of tooling foil. Using stylus or embossing tool, trace pattern and cutting line onto metal foil; remove pattern. Emboss areas to desired depth. Cut out medallion on cutting lines.
3. Use silicone sealant to glue embossed medallion to galvanized container; allow to dry according to manufacturer directions.

Designer Tips and Variations

• Add embossed metal medallions to any galvanized metal container such as tubs, buckets, vases, etc.
• Reduce or enlarge embossing patterns as desired to fit on any size container.
