What You Need

  • Glue
  • Silk Thread
  • Clamp

1. When a spindle becomes separated from or loose in its dowel socket, you can re-secure it quickly and easily.

2. After separating the spindle from the frame, use the #115 high speed cutter to gently but thoroughly remove old glue from the rung and inside the dowel socket.

3. When clean, coat end of spindle with glue and wrap silk thread around end to enlarge it.

4. Apply glue to end of spindle and inside of socket, then clamp and let dry.
