Finding the right fragrance oil to use with perfume or as an alternative to perfume can be difficult. Sometimes it may just be easier to make the fragrance oil that you want rather than searching all over for the right one. There are only a few simple steps to making fragrance oil.

• The first step is to find the base oil you want to use. Different base oil’s have different benefits so find the one you are looking for.
• Next you want to pick the concentrated scent oils that you are going to want to use. This oil is what your product will smell like.
• Before you start to mix the oil, find a dark glass container. This will allow your fragrance oil to last longer. Also protect the area you will be working on by putting down a towel or anything you can use to protect the surface.
• Start by adding the base oil to the bottle, a funnel can come in very handy here.
• Take the fragrance oil and use an eye dropper to apply it one drop at a time. A good strength is about 3 drops for every ounce of oil.
• Finally place it in a dark room for a few days to allow it to mix.
