Fridge Light Replacement Made Easy

One thing that you can always be sure of is the fridge light in your refrigerator. It is always on when you open the door to get a snack or a drink from your refrigerator. There are times when this fridge light will need replacing, however. Because the light really doesn’t get as much use as the other bulbs in your home, it is likely that you won’t have to replace the bulb very often.

Purchase the Correct Bulb
It’s a good idea to have a bulb on hand for the day when your fridge light goes out. To be sure that you are buying the correct spare bulb for your refrigerator, unscrew it and bring it to the store with you. Many refrigerator bulbs have a plastic covering that will have to be removed before you can unscrew the light bulb.

Installing the Replacement Fridge Light
Remove the outer cover that is over your refrigerator light bulb and unscrew the bulb. Screw in the replacement bulb and put the cover back on your fridge light. It is one of the simplest procedures that you can do. Make sure that you put the cover back on the fridge light to keep food items from getting on the bulb and to diffuse the light in the fridge.
