Get To Know the Corn Burning Stove


A corn burning stove is a very unique item because of the fuel it uses to create a fire. This stove uses dried corn as its fuel, which is both environmentally friendly and efficiently burn to make a long-lasting fire. Continue reading to familiarize your self with how the stove operates and why using one may bring you some benefits.

How the Stove Works
A corn burning stove begins with its hopper, a storage chamber where the supply of fuel is stored. It also has a combustion air fan which allows the fuel to burn with the support of oxygen to keep its heat. You can gradually feed or refill the combustion compartment, where the fuel burns, using an auger or simply dropping it from above. A heat exchanger is installed inside the furnace which extracts the heat through an exhaust.

Advantages of a Corn Stove
Stoves fueled by corn have become more popular because of the advantages it offers to consumers. Some of the advantages are:

  • Economic- Compared to natural gas, electricity, oil and other kinds of fuel, corn is much less expensive.
  • Environmentally friendly - Fuels made from corn do not produce emissions that pollute the environment.
