What are these possible dangers? Well for starters, to ensure you don’t get electrocuted when installing the hanging ceiling lamp, be sure to turn the breaker switches to off.

Removing and Attaching the Ceiling Lamp

When removing the existing fixture, be sure to remove any glass globes that may be attached as well as any light bulbs. This will prevent any broken glass.

After attaching the new hanging ceiling lamp, be sure all screws and nuts are secured tightly to prevent any wobbling. Once the new lamp is secured properly and all power is reattached, turn the circuit breaker back on.

If directions are followed properly, the dangers of a hanging ceiling lamp are limited, however should you not follow directions and not attach the lighting fixture securely, you may have a dangerous situation by risking the lamp falling out of the ceiling.
