Homemade Halloween Costume Ideas for Groups

Ideas for a group Halloween costume can be challenging, particularly if you go to the same costume party every year. You wouldn’t want to wear the same Halloween costume every year. Here are some ideas you can use for your next costume party.

Fruit Groups

Go to the costume party as a bunch of grapes. Make a costume similar to a pumpkin costume, but make it look like a grape. Or go as a bunch of bananas.

Toys

Go to the costume party as a group of crayons. Each person could go as a different shade of one color to make the group have more synergy. For instance, in a group of four, one person could make a costume that looks like a blue-green crayon; another one could go as a mint green, another as an emerald green, the last one forest green. For more traditional tastes, dress up as toy solders.

Animals

Go to the costume party as a group of monkeys with long tails and monkey ears. Or for a more seasonal costume, dress up like a group of bats (a bat costume is fairly easy to make-use a large black cape for the wings).

Go dressed up like a sheriff and his posse. A group of 4 could go to the costume party dressed up like the Beatles. Go dressed up like the vampires in the movie, “Twilight.”
