If you enjoy making your own cleaning products, it may interest you to learn that anyone can easily produce a homemade tile floor cleaner. The following steps will teach you a great way to make your tile floors sparkle.

Step 1 - Mix Your Cleaning Solution

Mix 1 gallon of warm water, 1 cup of ammonia, 1 cup of baking soda and 3/4 cup of white wine vinegar in a clean bucket. Next, vigorously stir the mixture and empty it into a number of empty spray bottles.

Step 2 - Clean Your Tile Floor

Now that your tile floor cleaner has been mixed, spray any dirty areas of your floor and allow it to set for several minutes. When your cleaning solution has had ample time to sit, proceed to wipe your tile floor clean with a sponge or washcloth. This easy-to-make cleaning solution is just as effective as any leading commercial tile floor cleaner.

Once your floor has been thoroughly cleaned, make sure to safely store any excess cleaning solution for future use. To ensure that your tile floors remain spotless, wipe them down with this homemade cleaner several times a month.
