How can I hide my electrical meter box?

If you have permission from your power company, you can hide your electrical meter box behind some nice shrubbery. If they have objection to that, you might want to build a cabinet around it with a couple of knobs that can open and close it easily. Finally, if you can install your electrical box inside your home, you may want to put it into the basement where your reader meter can find it, but out of sight. Of all of the methods to try, perhaps the outdoor shrub is the prettiest and adds the most value to your home as you have a nice plant and a meter hidden, to boot.
