How do I repair a pea gravel driveway?

by DoItYourself Staff

When it comes to a pea gravel driveway, there is really not much to repair. If you have borders around your driveway, and they become damaged, then remove the damaged part and replace it. If the excavated area that holds the pea gravel as become damaged, then the best approach is to dig out to a new border, that allows the excavated area to look clean again. Then, fill in the driveway with more pea gravel. One of the biggest problems with a pea gravel driveway, is the disappearing gravel. To solve this problem, simply add more pea gravel once a year, and then level the driveway off with a stiff-toothed rake.
