Removing a clog from a garbage disposal drain is not the simple task you will normally find clearing a clog from a drain that has no disposal. What makes this task a greater challenge, is getting a plumber’s snake through the garbage disposal and into the drain. Here are a few suggestions that will help resolve this problem.

Before placing the snake into the disposal, remove debris from the disposal that can interfere with the unclogging procedure. Open the bottom of the disposal. While turning the snake, work it into the disposal drain, and out through the disposal bottom, to remove the clog.
