How is a DJ CD Player Different From an Average CD Player?

by DoItYourself Staff

A DJ CD player differs from a CD player in several ways. A CD player is often used by a single individual who, alone, can hear the music that is being played. A DJ CD player consists of a digital turntable that is used by disc jockeys who prerecord music for special events. The DJ CD player is like a CD player but they have a slip pad disc attached to them. The disc jockey will hold and reverse the slip pad to make special effect noises. DJ CD players also include flash memory storage, cue point marking and automatic looping. Regular CD players do not have these functions.
