How Often Should Ceramic Tile Sealer Be Reapplied?

by DoItYourself Staff

As a general rule, you should try to apply ceramic tile sealer approximately once every year. This will provide you with the best results and keep your floor protected and looking good. If you do not want to apply the sealer once every year, you could do it once every 2 years. However, once this much time has passed, the sealer will be broken down in areas and the ceramic tile and grout will start to absorb liquids. If you do not seal the tile regularly, it will most likely become stained or discolored.
