The left and right front channel speakers must be positioned at a 45-degree angle and about 28 inches away from the listener. For the rear speakers, position it at least 56 inches from the back of the listener.
Position the center channel in the middle so that it is facing the listener directly. The subwoofer may be placed either in the front or in the back.

For surround speakers, adjust the delay for the rear surround, typically set at 15 milliseconds.

After setting up the proper volume adjustments, test the sound system by playing a movie. Check if the sound is clear and crisp, and if you can feel the sound flows smoothly from one speaker to the next.
