How to Beat Eggs with an Immersion Blender

by DoItYourself Staff

An immersion blender is an easy and convenient tool to use to chop, beat or mix ingredients for a meal or dessert. Most have attachments that you can put on and take off, depending on what type of device you need. They also have an easy-to-hold handle, making it easy for you to beat your eggs.

Preparing the Eggs

Get a mixing bowl to blend your eggs. Carefully crack your eggs and let the content of each egg fall into the bowl, being careful to remove all bits of the eggshells. If the recipe you are following asks you to beat eggs with other ingredients, add those ingredients to the bowl as well.

Preparing the Blender

Make sure to select the whisk from your attachments and place it on the blender. If there are any settings available with your device, make sure that you select the “whisk” or “beat” setting.

Beating Your Eggs

It is important that you beat your eggs as quickly as possible without making a mess. Put the blender into your bowl of ingredients and move it around, making sure that you beat all parts of the ingredients together. You will know that your eggs are beat when the yokes and the whites become one and the mixture becomes more aerated.

Immersion blenders can make beating your eggs very easy and fast.
