How to Check Your Cell Phone Voicemail from a Landline

Cell phone voice mail is very useful in case anyone calls you when you're not available. However, when you check the voicemail from your phone it will often cost you money.

Register

Talk to your cell phone company and ask them to register you for a PIN (Personal Identification Number). You need to set up a secure PIN so that you can access your voice mail from another phone. They should also give you the access number to phone into the voicemail system.

Phoning

Now you need to phone the voicemail number you just got from the phone company. You will be prompted to enter your phone number and also your PIN. This will then log you into the system, after this it will be exactly the same as when using it from your cell phone.

You will be able to listen to, delete and reply to voicemail messages without needing to use your cell phone minutes.
