How to Clean Pet Poop From Carpet
Pet poop on a carpet should be cleaned immediately to avoid the stain from becoming permanent or possible fabric discoloration. Instead of reprimanding your pet for his mistake, rush to the scene with clean paper towels and carpet stain remover to clean poop thoroughly.
Remove the Poop
Make sure you wear disposable gloves since you might directly touch the poop. Pick the poop with paper towels or tissues and dispose it off immediately. Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly.
Spray the Spot on the Carpet
Spray the stain remover on the site, fully saturating it. You can even use a household liquid soap if have run out of your stain remover.
Allow Stain Remover to Settle
Leave the cleaner on the spot for 10 to 15 minutes so it can settle down well. It will work to loosen tiny flakes of remaining poop so you can wipe them clean, and remove the smell.
Wipe the Carpet
Wipe the spot on your carpet with another paper towel or dry tissues, until the spot is completely dry and clean.
Review Carpet
