How to Cook Ribeye Steaks

by DoItYourself Staff

Ribeye steaks are one of the best steaks on the market. Many people that don’t cook it often ask if they should marinate it or what seasonings they should use. Ribeye steaks have a very good natural taste to them since they are a higher quality of meat and therefore do not need to be marinated. Some seasonings that could be used include parsley, salt, pepper, and a little rub of minced garlic.

Alternative add-on for Ribeye steaks

There is an alternative add-on that can be used in addition to the seasonings. You can make a garlic herb butter mixture to add on the top of the Ribeye steaks. The ingredients needed are
• ½ cup of softened butter (1 stick)
• 1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh parsley
• 1 tablespoon of fresh chopped chives
• 1 pressed garlic clove
• 2 teaspoons of Cognac

You can also use a shallot instead of the garlic and thyme instead of the parsley if you want to try it a little differently. Mix all of the ingredients together in a small bowl and then cover and chill the mixture. This method will produce an excellent topping for all ribeye steaks.
