Bluetooth car speaker is a wireless device that enables you to hold conversations over your mobile phone while driving using car speakers. Receiving incoming call or making calls while driving has never been easier. The device operates either by your voice command or by touch of a button. The following information will guide you on the installation of a Bluetooth car speaker.
Step 1 - Necessary Precautions to be Taken
Use of Bluetooth is extremely safe in cars, still your main focus should be your driving and you should check your mirrors very often. Do not divert your attention from your driving to your phone. Switch off the engine before starting the installation. You should assemble all the wires before getting started with the installation and keep in mind that the blue and yellow wires should be put in a safe place since they are extra wires.
Step 2 - Installing Junction Box
All items should be well arranged before starting the installation as this will make your work easier. First of all, line up the junction box and its wires. Coordinate your wires according to their colors and USB connectors. Then match the color wire to the color label, this will make the installation of wires easier for you. The fuse outlets are then to be removed and holders are to be taped according to their colors. To safely begin the installation, you need to switch off the car engine. The green ignition wire needs to be plugged into the fuse box's ignition-switch slot. The orange wire is the mute wire and you need to connect it to the car's stereo wire. The car fuse box contains a fused four to five amp location which needs to be connected with the red fuse wire. Then you need to connect the black USB cable wire with the car's chassis. To confirm that the connection is working properly, you need to switch on the engine.
Step 3 - Installing the Microphone
Connect the back outlet port of the Bluetooth junction box with the microphone's USB connecting cable. Since the microphone's USB connecting cable has a larger adaptor at its end, you need to connect it to the largest outlet port on the Bluetooth junction box. The microphone has to be set at a stationary location which is easily accessible by the driver, safe from all kinds of damages and is visible at all times. Clip the microphone with the help of pre-attached clips which are there in the kit. Make sure you mount the device at the position where the vibrations can easily be heard and which is without any sound distortion.
Step 4 - Installing the Bluetooth Speaker
Attach the Bluetooth speaker using the 4mm flat-head drill under the dashboard. Screw all the outermost corners of the speaker beneath the dashboard of the passenger side. Make sure that the speaker should be attached in the opposite direction of the microphone. Then use the same procedure to place the Bluetooth speaker under the airbag on the passenger side.
