How to look for a Tree Disease

When a tree disease affects a tree it can sometimes be cured and other times it will be fatal to the tree. There are some ways to tell if a tree disease is having a major effect on the tree.

• Look for branches that are pruned away. This is a good sign that the branch or tree is diseased.
• Look for the lack of growth of leafs on the branches. This usually means something is causing the tree not to grow properly.

When it comes to curing a tree disease it depends on what kind of tree and what kind of disease it is. It’s hard to diagnose what disease a tree has without running tests. This usually calls for a tree disease specialist to come in and take a look at it.

Confusion with Tree Disease

Sometimes a tree may look like it has a disease but the tree is actually just lacking nutrients. This is because malnutrition of a tree has the same physical appearances as a tree disease. For a tree that is having nutrition deficiencies it is rather easy to treat. In most cases you can apply fertilizer to the tree to give it the proper amounts of vitamins it needs.
