How To Mount Outdoor Home Security Cameras

If you're planning to install an outdoor home security camera, you can accomplish the job with just a few simple steps, often in a matter of an hour or less.

Step 1 - Pick a Position
Decide where you want to mount your home security camera, including which direction you want to point it, along with the angle and height of the camera.

Step 2 - Mark the Spot
Mark the position of the mounting bracket.

Step 3 - Drill Pilot Holes
Using a drill bit slightly smaller than the screw you will use to install the bracket, drill a hole into the wall.
