How to Polish Stainless Steel Cutlery

  • Cotton Rag

There are various methods that can be used to polish or clean stainless steel cuttlery and the dishwasher machine. With the the right cleaning solutions, you could easily remove food stains and polish your stainless steel cutlery. Below are the materials that you need along with the instructions

Step 1-Use the Washing Machine

Study the manual of the dishwashing machine to know the temperature and model settings for the kind used. The kind of cleaning to be done on different utensils and gadgets should be determined to ensure that your stainless steel cutlery is not damaged in any way.

Step 2-Use Bleach, Orange Juice Mix and Baking Soda

Empty the dishwasher. Add a tablespoon of bleach, orange juice mix and baking soda in a bucketful of hot water. Put all your stainless steel cutlery inside the dishwasher rack. Run your dishwasher in full washing to remove all the build-up of molds, dirt and grime in your stainless steel cutlery as well as in the dishwasher.

Step 3-Remove and Dry the Stainless Steel Cutlery

Remove your stainless steel cutlery and place it on top of a clean kitchen table. Allow enough time for your stainless steel cutlery to dry.

Step 4-Polish

Wear your rubber gloves to prevent your fingerprints from getting on your stainless steel cutlery. Using a clean cotton rag, polish your stainless steel cutlery in a circular motion. Do not use any cleaning solution as it can leave odor on your stainless steel cutlery.
