How to Use a Car Detailing Vacuum

Regular use of a car detailing vacuum is important to maintaining the interior of a vehicle. The following steps will help you to quickly and easily vacuum your car interior.

Step 1 – Cleaning the Floor Mats

Remove the floor mats from the vehicle to clean. Vacuum any dirt or debris from the mats. If they are carpeted, apply a foam carpet cleaner to them. Allow the cleaner enough time to penetrate the carpeting. Vacuum the cleaner from the carpeting.

Step 2 – Cleaning the Seats

If possible, remove the seats from the vehicle in order to gain access to the entire interior area with the vacuum. If it is not possible to remove them, connect an attachment to the vacuum that will allow you to get into tight spaces.

Step 3 – Deep Cleaning the Carpet

Vacuum the entire interior to remove any dirt and debris. Apply the foam carpet cleaner to all of the fabric areas of the interior. Allow the cleaner enough time to penetrate the fabric. Be careful not to damage the carpeting while you work. Use a brush to work the foam cleaner into the carpet. Vacuum the cleaner from the interior areas.
