Is a concrete patio or a brick patio more durable?

A brick patio is a low maintenance option, but the material is less durable than concrete. Brick and concrete are comparable in price and both relatively easy to install. However, concrete can resist damage from the elements better than can brick. Brick gets slippery when wet, but concrete is slip-resistant. Concrete is also more resistant to cracking than is brick. Concrete lasts longer than brick without needing frequent repairs or maintaining. All these make it tougher than brick as a material to be used for patios.
