Is solar or LED lighting easier to install?

When deciding between outdoor solar or LED lighting, ease of installation will likely be one of the factors considered. Cost, efficiency, brightness and maintenance must be considered as well. Solely in terms of installation, solar lighting is easier to install. Solar lighting requires no digging or wiring. While certain fixtures require more time, installing solar lights is generally very easy.

Differences

LED lighting is brighter than solar-powered light and gives you more control. Low-wattage bulbs are energy efficient and long lasting, but fixtures require wiring similar to an indoor light. There are solar lights, however, built with LEDs rather than fluorescent or iridescent bulbs, giving you the best of both technologies.
