Focusing on conservation and preserving our natural resources has always been important to Anheuser-Busch. When it comes to protecting the environment, there are simple, everyday ways we all can make an impact. Below are a few suggestions:
- Reduce landfill waste by recycling aluminum, glass and paper and buying recycled products whenever possible.
- Set good examples by not littering and picking up trash wherever you go.
- Team up with others in your community to hold an organized clean-up event.
- Conserve water by not letting the water run when you brush your teeth and by taking shorter showers or baths in a partially-filled tub.
- Reuse materials, such as paper grocery bags, rather than throwing them away.
- Reduce air pollution by using less heat and air conditioning.
- Conserve energy by turning off lights and electronic equipment when you leave a room.
- When you travel, leave wild things in the wild-don't transport wild flowers or plants. Don't buy products made from endangered species.
- Preserve wild habitats in your area by growing native plants, grasses, flowers, shrubs and trees, which are more likely to attract native birds, butterflies and other insects.
- Plant a tree and build a birdhouse in your yard.
