Making your own lavender oil perfume diffuser is a very easy and fun home project. A perfume diffuser uses reeds placed in a jar of oil to release the scent into the air. Lavender oil perfume diffusers are quickly becoming very popular since they do not require a flame like a candle.
- Step 1: Get a small old vase or jar and pour some lavender oil inside until it is about 1/3-1/2 full.
- Step 2: If you want you can decorate your vase with dried flowers, stones, or glass marbles by putting them in the bottom of the glass jar.
- Step 3: Insert 6-15 reeds inside of the jar. The more reeds you have, the stronger the smell will be. You can pick up reeds at a craft store or use bamboo skewers.
- Step 4: Allow the reeds to soak up the lavender oil and dispense it through the room.
