Q: How do you remove over spray or graffiti from painted surfaces?

Q: When using Lift Off #4, how can I tell if the painted surface is factory baked?
A: Typically a factory baked finish is something such as an automobile, truck, phone booth or utility box. A factory baked finish is a painted surface which is actually heat treated, creating a more durable coating. Additionally, test the Lift Off #4 in an inconspicuous area.
Q: How do you use a pressure washer with Lift Off #4?
A: When using Lift Off #4 in a pressure washer it is recommended that this application only be used on a natural porous surface such as unpainted brick, concrete or slump stone. The effected area should be sprayed with Lift Off #4 out of a trigger pump or can be applied with a tank sprayer when large areas are effected with the graffiti. Once the effected areas have been sprayed and allowed to sit for two or three minutes, then the pressure washer can be used to remove the graffiti. It is recommended that a pressure washer of at least 2000 pci with a ten degree spray tip be used. It is not necessary to use heated water, although this can be helpful, after the Lift Off has been sprayed on but before the pressure washer is used to rinse. When rinsing, it is recommended that you start at the bottom and working its way up vertically to remove the graffiti. This is so the water doesn't wash away the product while it's activated on the graffiti.
