A new towel bar for your bathroom can add an entirely new look even if you are not remodeling. While a towel bar is a small item in your bathroom, a new one, especially one with an intricate design, can add beauty and luxury.
Installing Your Towel Bar
There isn't going to be much of an impact if the towel bar stays in the box. You will have to install it in order to see any changes. Fortunately, installing a towel bar is an easy process.
Choose Your Spot
Picking the spot where your towel bar is out of the way, yet visible. In the spot as the old one is good if it fits that criterion.
Level and Drill
Place a level on the wall where you want to place your new towel bar. Depending on the type you can usually use the bar itself as a template for drilling holes for the fasteners. Trace a straight line along the level and locate holes for screws.
Drill and Anchor
If you are going to be fastening the towel bar to drywall you will need to first set drywall anchors into the holes you drilled.
Install and Enjoy
Place new towel bar on line and line up holes. Using a drill screw in the fasteners and put your towels on it. You're done.
