Installing a Parquet Floor

Some people look at parquet floors, with all the small, beautiful inlaid pieces, and think, "What patience and skill the installer must have had!" Actually, patience and great skill is no longer needed to install this beautiful flooring. Quite the opposite is true. It is one of the simpler do-it-yourself projects. This is because all those little pieces have been prefabricated together into larger tiles. Because of this, and the fact that it comes pre-finished, it is no more difficult to install than vinyl floor tiles.
