Replacing Your Bathroom Flooring
Your bathroom flooring plays an integral role in the overall look and feel of the bathroom. When you like the flooring in your bathroom, you are going to feel much better about the room. There are a number of different floors that you could install in your bathroom. Here are a few things that you might want to consider when thinking about replacing your bathroom flooring.
Water Friendly
When choosing a new floor to replace your existing bathroom flooring with, you will want to make sure that your new floor is water friendly. Many people choose floors that are not conducive to being around water and end up paying the price for it later. In most cases, you should stay away from hardwood, laminate, and carpet in the bathrooms. Tile, vinyl, and linoleum make fantastic bathroom floors because of their ability to resist water damage.
Size Constraints
Another factor that you will want to consider is the size of the design that you are putting in the bathroom. Regardless of whether you are putting real tile or a vinyl with a tile pattern on it in the bathroom, you need to consider the size of the squares. If you have a tiny bathroom, putting large tiles in it usually will not look the best.
