Sagging Screen Door Repair

When the screen on your screen door begins to sag or come loose you can perform door screen repair yourself. Door screen repair is not that hard to do and the following article will show you how.
Step 1 - Remove the Screen
When doing your own door screen repair you will have to remove the door and also the screen. Use the screwdriver to remove the hinges then place the door on a flat surface. Use a staple remover to remove the staples holding the screen in place.
Step 2 - Placing the Screen
Since you have to do the door screen repair yourself you might as well replace the screen completely. Take the new piece of screen and place it on top of the door. Center it as much as possible. When the screen is in place, put a clamp at the center of each side.
Step 3 - Attaching the Screen
Take one end of the screen and pull it tight then staple it at the corners then near the clamps. Do the same for the top of the screen. Add staples around the door's perimeter.
Step 4 - Finish
Trim the screen and remove the clamps then replace the door.
