One of the most frustrating things to find during a home improvement project is a stripped screw in the surface of the material. But here's an easy solution.

  1. Drill a hole slightly smaller than the head of the screw into the middle with a drill bit, making sure to go slowly.
  2. Then using a screw extractor that matches the size of the screw, extract it from the hole.
  3. Afterwards, you can fix the stripped hole with wood putty.
