Sharpen a Chain Saw Blade

comments

What You Need

  • Heavy Gloves
  • Chainsaw Sharpening Attachment #1453

1. Begin on the near side teeth, keeping the line on the guide parallel to the chain. A few light strokes on each tooth is enough.

2. Now sharpen the far side, keeping the back edge of the guide parallel to the chain. The same number of strokes should be done to each tooth to keep it balanced.

3. After completing the top bar, advance the chain with a gloved hand.

4. You'll notice the newly sharp edges immediately.
