Soda is a tasty drink we all enjoy, soda stain removal is something we do not. While all stains are a nuisance, soda stain removal does not have to be difficult. As with any stain, you should try to clean it right away, before it sets in.
The first step is to use a clean dry towel and blot the area, removing any excess liquid. Secondly for soda stain removal you should create a cleaning solution consisting of:
• ¼ Cup of Liquid Dish Detergent
• 1 Cup Cold water
Using the soda stain removal solution and a clean rag, blot the area first and then gently scrub it clean.
Stubborn Soda Stain Removal
If the soda stain is still showing after the above process, create a new soda stain removal solution and begin again:
• ¼ Cup Vinegar
• 1 Cup Luke Warm Water
Soda stain removal may be more difficult depending on the surface, but it is not impossible. You may have to put a little elbow grease in to the soda stain removal process to see the results you want.
