Suggestions for Keeping a White Porcelain Tile Clean
Cleaning the Tiles
Pour two gallons of warm water into a bucket. Add a cleaner that is specifically designed for porcelain tile. Be sure to read the instructions provided by the manufacturer before you begin. Use a mop to apply the solution to your tiles and allow the solution to sit for three minutes. Then, squeeze out the excess moisture from your mop and remove the excess solution from your tiles. Rinse the tiles with clear water.
Removing Stains
You can purchase a stain removing product from your local hardware store. Be sure to read the instructions provided by the manufacturer before you begin. Apply the mixture to the stained area and press it into the tile. If necessary, allow it to sit on the surface for about fifteen minutes. Then, remove the mixture and rinse the area.
Drying the Tiles
Dry the porcelain tiles with clean cloths. Be sure to remove any water from the surface to prevent water spots from forming on the tiles.
