Premixed grout is a convenient material that you can use in re-grouting, especially if the damage to the grout requires immediate attention. Grout that has been stained, damaged or cracked is very dangerous to your health since it can harbor the growth of mildew and molds behind the surface of the tiles. This is the reason why it is important to reapply grout on your tiles, and the best way to do it is to use premixed grout. Here are techniques on how to reapply premixed grout easily.

Step 1 - Clean And Remove The Existing Grout

Use a mixture of detergent and water to clean the grout surface. Use a brush to apply the detergent solution to the grout. Once done, dry the grout using a clean rag.

Step 2 - Apply The Premixed Grout To The Tile Surface

Apply the premixed grout to the surface of the tile using a grout float. Continue this process until you have applied the new grout in between the tiles.

Step 3 - Remove Excess Grout

Remove the excess grout using a grout sponge or squeegee. Let the grout dry before moving to the next step.

Step 4 - Apply Sealer To The New Grout

Apply sealer grout to protect the grout from any stains and damage. Let it dry for several hours before using the bathroom.
