Tips for Removing Stickiness from Metal Kitchen Cabinets
Metal kitchen cabinets can become sticky for a number of reasons, from old sticker adhesive to spilled ingredients staining and sticking to the surface. Here are a few tips on how to get rid of those unsightly and annoying sticky stains.
Knives
The most straightforward way of getting your metal kitchen cabinets clean is to use a knife, such as a putty knife or one with a broad edge. Cover that edge with masking tape so as not to damage the cabinet and then scrape the stickiness away.
Eucalyptus Oil
If you want to use a natural product to get the stickiness off your metal kitchen cabinets, try eucalyptus oil. Pour some onto a clean cloth and then wipe. Though natural, eucalyptus oil is flammable so exercise caution when storing.
Rubbing Alcohol
This kind of alcohol can easily remove stickers, stickiness and any other stain you find on your metal kitchen cabinets. Put some rubbing alcohol on a cloth or cotton ball and scrub the cabinets.
Commercial Products
In a trip to your local home improvement store, you may see some commercial products that promise to remove stickiness from a myriad of surfaces. Usually these products are very strong solvents so make sure you choose the right one for use on your metal kitchen cabinets.
