What are the standard washer and dryer connections?

While different models vary, the different types of washer and dryer connections are relatively standard. The following is a complete list of connections you'll find on your washer and dryer.

Cold Water Connection

Your washing machine will have a cold water connection.

Hot Water Connection

Most washing machines also have a hot water connection. The ones that do not heat their own water internally.

Electric Connection

You should expect your washing machine to have an electric connection

Gas/Electric Connection

Your dryer will have a gas or electric connection to heat the air within.

Vent Connection

Your dryer will have a vent connection as well.
