What type of glass cutter should I use when cutting glass tiles?

by DoItYourself Staff

Many products in today's world of art and home decorating are made of glass and require a glass cutter to reshape and resize them. But, you need to know which tools to use in cutting your glass.

Tile Wet Saw

With the right blade attached to it, you can often use a tile wet saw to cut glass. This saw will allow you to cut through glass with less chipping or cracking.

Standard Glass Cutter

An optional glass cutter that will work with practice is the standard glass cutter. With this cutter it is possible to make smaller and more intricate cuts that you aren't able to make with the tile wet saw.
