If you are able to derive the same energy efficiency and savings from the use of other types of insulation for your attic, you should choose that material for your attic’s insulation. That foam attic insulation may cost more than other forms of insulation should not be the only factor to take into account when considering the importance of reducing the energy that can be lost through your roof.
