Will a new motorcycle exhaust system increase fuel efficiency?

Installing a new motorcycle exhaust system can increase the fuel efficiency of the bike. Since there is an increase in performance and speed, most motorcyclists will use that increase to ride faster and will not see the improved fuel efficiency. If, however, the bike is ridden in the same way that it was before the upgrade in exhaust systems, there will be a noticeable improvement in fuel economy.
