How Is the Water Flow?
Buildup from minerals found in water can decrease your water flow. The problems can be caused by calcium, lime, or other chemicals from treatment plants. These deposits can clog up your faucet and cause the water flow to be low or intermittent.
Are There Any Leaks?
Check around the shower and bath faucets for any signs of leaks. Is there discoloration along the tub or shower enclosure? Are there any signs on the floor? If your tub has a rear access panel, use a flashlight to check for any signs of water around the faucet.
Are There Any Cracks or Breaks?
Are things starting to break off from your faucet? Are the compression rings cracking? Is the valve sending water between the shower and tub? Can you see any visible signs of cracks on the faucet? Replacing your shower and bath faucet at the first signs of cracks or breakage will help save you money later.
Are You Remodeling?
