Adobe InCopy CS2 - How to Use the Enable Track Changes Button

Now, if you are anything like me, there is a common problem that can happen specifically let us go to the story view. If you play around with your software before you actually read the manual and learn how to use the software, you might play with all sorts of buttons.
One of those buttons that you might experiment with is the enable track changes button here at the top of the screen. If you have enabled that option and then choose File Place and place or open any document and accept the settings which it place the text but it is all highlighted in a bright color. The reason for that change is because you had to track changes on before you place the document. So InCopy thinks to that entire import is actually one big track change. So therefore, it is highlighting all that text for you. If that happens, go ahead and undo by choosing Edit Undo, or Command Control Z, disable the track changes feature by clicking the button in the toolbar and then choose File, Place, Select the file and place it again. Now, you get the text just as you expect but without all of the highlighted changes.
