Did you know the proper startup procedure? If we need to start an inboard boat, follow these simple procedures every time. The first thing you should do is open up the engine hatch and look around. Check for any water and sniff for any fumes. If it all looks good then turn on the bilge blower fan.
Next, check your oil. Make sure it's in the proper operating range. Check other fluid level too. Like your Freshwater Coolant, Power-Steering Fluid, Gear Lube Monitor for Sterndrives, and Trim Tab Levels. If they are all full, close the engine hatch and start the engine. Let your engines run at the top until they reach proper operating temperature.
