Here we will show you how to make a dove-like; I am using the square sheet of 12x12 inches scrapbook paper. Start by folding the sheet in a half diagonally to form a right triangle. Now fold the corner of the triangle towards the open dent. Do the same on the other side. When you are done, you got a square diamond shape. Now pull down one of the flaps we just made, we are going to take this point fold it up and in.

It is okay if you have a little tab hanging over, that is going to be hidden later. And do the same thing on the other side. Now flip the sheet over, fold the close tip down a little and then fold it up back over itself. This will form the beak. Now fold the sheet in half along way. Here is our head and beak. Now fold up these flaps to make wings.

And now we will make the tail. Slide your thumb in and under the back end of the bird and with your fingers simply push the paper flat gently, then fold to make a crease to finish the tail and there is your bird.

I'll use my leather man multi tool, I mini screwdriver and a couple of paper clips. Take one paper clip and bend it up to make a hook. The bottoms will then bend into a T-shape. Now poke a hole into the middle of your bird from the bottom. Slide the hook right through the hole. You might need to re-bend the hook a little. Finally, we will secure the bird shot with the second paper clip. And there you go your custom holiday decoration.
