Flowers are great.

But why not add a little spice.

Make breakfast in bed for your mom.

Go to a play or movie,

Take her to brunch.

Go for a walk in the park or to a museum.

Go to a rope course together and be partners while scaling a wall and crossing a tight wire.

Make a scrapbook or family album.

Make a CD with songs that are all about mom.

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about.

Celebrate by asking Mom what YOU want to do.

That would be refreshing for any Mom.
